Can KeyCedar read my accounts, balances or subscriptions automatically?
No. iOS offers no way for apps to read or switch the accounts you're signed in to, and KeyCedar never signs in on your behalf or scrapes websites. You enter everything yourself — which is also why your data never leaves your hands.
Where is my data stored? Can the developer see it?
Only on your device and in your own iCloud, with sensitive fields end-to-end encrypted. We have no servers, so we can't see or access your data. See our Privacy Policy.
How do I move my data to a new iPhone?
Sign in to the same iCloud account on the new device with iCloud turned on, then open KeyCedar — your data syncs automatically. You can also export an encrypted backup on the old device and import it on the new one.
My devices aren't syncing.
- Make sure all devices are signed in to the same iCloud account, and that KeyCedar is allowed to use iCloud in Settings → your name → iCloud.
- Make sure your iCloud storage isn't full.
- Sync needs an internet connection; the first sync can take a few minutes.
Face ID isn't working.
You can unlock with your device passcode instead. KeyCedar has no separate master password — it unlocks the same way your device does.
Do I have to enter passwords?
No, passwords are optional. If you already use another password manager, you can track just subscriptions, balances and recovery details.
Why didn't I get a reminder?
- Check that notifications are allowed in iOS Settings → Notifications → KeyCedar.
- Check that the subscription or phone number has a date filled in.
- Reminders are scheduled on your device; opening KeyCedar reschedules all of them.
How do I delete all my data?
Deleting KeyCedar removes its data from your device. To delete its iCloud data, go to iOS Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Storage.
Can KeyCedar create or sell accounts?
No. KeyCedar only helps you manage accounts you already own. It does not create, transfer, share or distribute accounts.
